Worcester Arts Workshop, (21 Sansome Street,

8 hours of some of the best metal, hardcore and punk
in the area. Kidderminster’s
Weak13
use a variety of strange low-guitar tunings,
unorthodox riffs and dark sounds for every
Weak13
song is different. The lyrics written by Nick
J.Townsend are always filled with subliminal
messages, personal experiences and harsh reality,
always taking full advantage of poetic freedom.
One thing that
Warpath
have no trouble in doing is being very heavy and
this is in large part due to having an above average
rhythm section. Their spine-rattling, pounding
heaviness will make an impression on you. "Savage
riffage and a kick in the teeth" Terrorizer
Magazine, "Total Destruction - 4/5" Metal Team UK,
"A thrash force to be reckoned with" Zero Tolerance
MagazineEvery
They are joined by Worcesters very own
Dissidence
who play their own blend of hardcore metal and aim
to break your ears and open your hearts, They are
joined by a host of local bands including thrash
metallars
Warmoth
who create a unique sound by drawing on the talents
of 3 lead guitar players to create a crushing wall
of sound backed up by a tight and intricate rhythm
section,
Tenth Aggression
who sound like an experiment in torture on Guitar,
Bass and Drums, with a dramatic overlay of vocals,
plus the youthful but talented
Shirukume
who are like the musical equivalent of having your
face smashed in with a hammer, only with more
ambience. Also on the bill are local amazing local
trash metallers
Fury,
the Progressive Technical Death metal, fast, complex
and heaviness of
Figures of Hate
and from Stourbridge
Martyr De Mona.

Host
/ BlueRADIO
The Fire Fly (54 Lowesmoor, Worcester, WR1 2SE)

|
Host are a
Worcester
based indie rock band with more than their fair of
funk fuelled basslines and pounding guitar riffs.
But that is not all. Add to the mix a extremely
talented vocalist, a tremendously gifted guitarist
and a heap of quality tracks, this band are worth
looking out for. Blue radio are more of a
collective of different Worcester solo artists(shane
husbands, clueless dolby, devils with clean
faces, chris marron five) and the list is growing.
The idea of the project is to get a bit of a network
of local Worcestershire bands to play their solo
sets then at the end they do a BlueRADIO song or
two as a band.
